​목재의 단순한 선과 면을 중심에 두고, 금속 판재의 반복적 레이어가 만들어내는 밀도와 변화를 탐구하는 작업을 한다. 절제된 목재의 고유한 느낌과 금속의 규칙적 반복이 주는 차가운 리듬을 결합하여, 두 재료가 만들어내는 구조와 표면의 관계를 자연스럽게 드러낸다. 서로 다른 재료가 만들어 내는 물성의 대비를 해체하고 다시 조립하는 실험적 조형 방식을 통해, 순정한 목재의 감성과 산업적 금속의 현대적 미감을 새로운 방식으로 접속시키고자 한다.

My work centers on the simplicity of wood’s lines and planes while exploring the density and variation created through the repetitive layering of metal sheets. By combining the restrained, inherent warmth of wood with the cool, rhythmic order of metal, I reveal the natural relationship between structure and surface formed by these two materials. Through an experimental approach that disassembles and recomposes the contrasting material qualities, I seek to connect the pure sensibility of wood with the contemporary aesthetic of industrial metal in a new and meaningful way.
