​최수아 작가는 일상에서 경험한 장소들을 채집하며 작업을 시작한다. 형식적인 일관성만으로는 설명되지 않는 지점에서, 그 이유를 찾아가다 보면 결국 머무른 장소로 시선이 향한 경험을 통해 때로는 뚜렷한 목적도 이유도 없지만 계속해서 시선을 붙잡는 것들을 요소 삼아 가구-오브젝트 등을 만드는 작업을 이어오고 있다.

Choi Sooa begins her work by gathering impressions from the places she encounters in everyday life. Rather than relying solely on formal consistency, she searches for the reasons behind the subtle points that resist easy explanation. Her gaze often returns to the places she has inhabited—moments where certain scenes hold her attention without clear purpose or intent. These lingering elements become the basis for her continued creation of furniture and object works.
