​대학 시절 갑작스럽게 찾아온 희귀 피부병을 겪으며, 이를 극복해가는 과정에서 손으로 만드는 공예를 통해 위로받고 작업의 영감을 얻었다. 이를 계기로 공예의 새로운 도전과 실험을 중심으로 가구 작업을 이어오고 있다. 주된 공예 기법으로 직조를 다루며, 직조가 지닌 새로운 발전 가능성과 이색적인 재료와의 결합을 지속적으로 연구하고 있다.

During his university years, he suddenly developed a rare skin condition. In the process of overcoming it, he found comfort and inspiration in working with his hands through craft, which led him to begin his practice. Since then, he has continued to work with furniture, centering his practice on new challenges and experimentation within craft. Weaving is his primary craft technique, and he continues to research its potential for new development as well as its combination with unconventional materials.
