나는 전통적 재료의 본질과 현대적 조형 언어의 경계에서 작업한다. 옻, 금속, 플라스틱 등 서로 다른 물성을 가진 재료를 결합하여, 시간이 만들어내는 질감과 빛의 흐름을 탐구한다. 재료의 물성을 해체하고 재구성하는 실험적 방법을 통해, 전통의 감성과 현대적 미감을 새롭게 연결하고자 한다.

I work at the boundary between the essence of traditional materials and the language of contemporary form. By combining materials with differing properties—such as Ottchil (the traditional Korean lacquer technique), metal, and plastic—I explore the textures shaped by time and the flow of light. Through experimental methods that deconstruct and reconstruct the physical properties of materials, I seek to create new connections between the sensibility of tradition and the aesthetics of modernity.
